Steve Bent
Steve began his career as a laboratory technician before moving into a field-based role in 1989 with Houseman (Burnham) Limited in the West Midlands, where he started working as a service technician. He now has more than 35 years of experience in water treatment and water hygiene, covering all aspects of service and sales delivery, and has held several senior positions, culminating in his last role as UK Sales Director for a large multinational organisation.
Steve has extensive experience in the management and delivery of legionella control across a wide range of organisations. He specialises in the chemical treatment of evaporative cooling towers, steam boilers, closed heating and chilled systems, along with all aspects of domestic water treatment including chlorine dioxide applications. This expertise places him in a strong position to understand the operational procedures, processes, and standards required to ensure compliance with current legislative guidelines.
Steve is a member of the Water Management Society and within his previous roles he has been integrally involved in theoretical and practical training, comprising most topics within water treatment and water hygiene for both in house staff and end users.
