Training FAQ

We would like to thank all of our customers for their flexibility and understanding during this very difficult period. If there are any questions about rearranging training, or booking new courses please feel free to contact us on training@wmsoc.org.uk or 01827 289 558.

The WMSoc training centre is open with full use of our Practical Training Area for all practical courses.

Most bookings can be made online however if you need to speak with someone please give us a call on 01827 289558 or email training@wmsoc.org.uk.

Our new schedule for the following year is released around October each year. If you cannot find an available class on the schedule please contact the office as new courses are added during the year if there is sufficient demand.

Joining instructions are sent to all students 2 weeks before training is due to commence. If we do not have a direct email address for you these instructions will be sent to the person who made the booking.

Some of our classroom courses now include online pre-requisite modules to be completed before attending the face to face class. This ensures that basic legal and health information is conveyed before attending onsite and allows additional time for hands-on or more in depth discussions in the classroom. The cost of these online modules is included in the classroom course costs and details of how to access these modules will be sent out with the joining instructions.

We have recently launched a number of online courses which can be accessed from your computer and are student lead. Each of these courses will provide an overview of a subject and earns the student a certificate of completion and 1 CPD hour of learning. More details are available here Online Courses
