The Institute of Swimming Pool Engineers (ISPE) has been busy behind the scenes preparing an exciting line-up of events for the 2026/27 programme, with a range of venues now confirmed for seminars, workshops, and examinations across the coming year.
The programme begins with the Autumn Seminar and Student Awards, taking place on Thursday 1st October at the stunning Silvermere Inn on the Lake in Cobham. Combining technical learning, networking, and the celebration of student achievement, the event promises to be another key date in the ISPE calendar. The day will also feature the Inauguration of the next ISPE President, as Bob Judd, FISPE hands over the chains of office to Will Dando, FISPE.
Attention then turns to the ever-popular ISPE Filtration Workshop, returning to Plastica in Hastings on Tuesday 24th November. Led by Will Dando, FISPE and Jimmy Lamb, FISPE, the workshop continues to provide delegates with practical insight into filtration systems, media, pipework, and water treatment processes, making it an invaluable technical learning opportunity for professionals across the industry.
The Winter Seminar will once again adopt a strong commercial pool focus and will take place at Wolverhampton Racecourse on Thursday 3rd December. Alongside a full programme of technical presentations and networking opportunities, delegates will also receive complimentary entry to the greyhound racing, offering a unique festive networking experience immediately after the seminar concludes.
Looking ahead to 2027, the ISPE examinations will return to Orida Hotels Newbury on Monday 8th March 2027, before the programme continues the following day with the Spring Seminar at Snelsmore House, The Donnington & Co Golf Club, Newbury, on Tuesday 9th March.
Planning for all events is already well underway, with several speakers confirmed across the programme. ISPE is also keen to hear from additional industry professionals interested in presenting. Anyone wishing to share technical expertise, case studies, or industry insights is encouraged to contact Luke Griffiths to express their interest.
Bookings for the 2026/27 events are now open, and ISPE is also inviting interest from companies wishing to support the programme through sponsorship and exhibition opportunities. With limited exhibitor spaces available, this is an excellent opportunity for organisations to showcase their brand, connect directly with industry professionals, and support technical learning within the sector.
Further details, speaker announcements, and programme updates will be released over the coming weeks and months.
