THIS IS AN ACCREDITED MODULE

This accredited course is part of a series of modular presentations forming the training course programme of the Water Management Society

Venue: This course is to be held in Fazeley, Tamworth, Staffs. Full joining instructions and maps will be sent to all registered delegates.

This course has been designed to give a detailed view of cooling water treatment. Some of the topics covered will be:

  • The chemistry of water and its problems
  • Evaporative cooling systems
  • Cooling water calculations
  • Treatment of cooling water
  • Cooling water economics
  • Monitoring of cooling systems

This course is designed for those needing in-depth knowledge of the safe and effective treatment of cooling water. It follows the module on Basic Principles and will only duplicate information given on that course where necessary to ensure understanding.

Combinations of this and other subjects may be selected by companies who wish to design their own (made-to-measure) training course.

Delegates: This course will be particularly relevant to those responsible for cooling systems and water treatment engineers wishing to expand their knowledge. All delegates will be expected to complete a WMS assessment. This will confirm understanding of the work completed during the day and complement the usual certificate of attendance.

N.B. Site engineers and those interested in the treatment of particular configurations of equipment are invited to send specifications of the installation in question with their booking form; every effort will then be made to incorporate relevant information.

WMSoc assessment

All delegates will be expected to complete a WMSoc Assessment. This will confirm understanding of the work completed during the day and complement the usual certificate of attendance.
