CONFERENCES WHICH HAVE TAKEN PLACE RECENTLY

Legionella 30 Years On: - WMSoc International Conference at the National Motorcycle Museum, South Birmingham

This conference attracted nearly 200 delegates over the two days and a small trade exhibition: speakers from the UK, Australia, the Netherlands, and Spain presented papers on a wide range of topics looking first at the global approach to legionella and the legacy of recorded outbreaks and on the second day, developments in legionella control and some crystal gazing into the future.

If you manage buildings of any size, including multi-occupancy buildings, you probably could not afford to miss this one-day conference.
This was a well-attended meeting dispensing much thought-provoking information.

Other at Risk Systems seminar: L8 (pages 49-50 and 53) covers these systems with minimal guidance; this meeting will be addressed by experts in each of the designated fields and will have the aim of producing guidelines on each of the systems discussed

Legislation Update: intense interest at the 2003 WMSoc AGM in the developments within EC legislation has led to this conference which will attempt to cover ALL legislation either proposed, under discussion, or recently in force which could impinge upon the interests of WMSoc members and their companies.
