THIS IS AN ACCREDITED MODULE

The management and control of closed systems is becoming a subject of major importance, due both to the high costs of repair when these systems fail and the costs of associated litigation that can arise.

This course gives details of how to control these systems in order to minimise plant failure and allow the systems to run safely and with maximum efficiency.

As well as looking at management, design and control aspects, the course also examines legal aspects (including Corporate Manslaughter), the various treatment and pre-treatment alternatives and methods of performance monitoring.

The expected delegates for this course are:

  • Those who are responsible for the closed systems (including managers, owners, facilities managers and maintenance personnel)
  • those who carry out treatment, routine sampling, testing, and inspections of these systems, including service providers
  • those who are considering carrying out their own monitoring work or checking/replacing outside contractors.
