WMSoc Training Course Accreditation Scheme

Work is underway to bring all WMSoc training modules within the Accreditation Scheme. Having assessed the available schemes within the industry, it was decided that, at the time, that none of them met the stringent standards of quality of information and expertise of the tutors that was felt necessary.

The WMSoc Accreditation Scheme was formally launched at the AGM in 2003.

All course are rigorously examined by people expert in that particular topic and are subject to continual quality evaluation. Students are set tests to indicate the knowledge gained and the ability to apply that knowledge.

Marks are allocated according to a strict regime with a Pass mark of 70%, the level attained is indicated on the certificate issued. All results are entered on a central database, which can be accessed to verify certificates. Students failing to attain a pass mark receive an attendance certificate.
